Amaze your friends...Make your own Resonator
Guitar for next to nothing.
Remember kids, don't try this on the Martin.

$30.00 yard sale treasure with an empty 1-pound Maxwell House Coffee can carriage bolted thru the back of it. Makes a good sounding slider, believe it or not. Photo courtesy of the Hoosier Homeboys, Marv and Kevin. Hear what it sounds like below.
Rollin'& Tumblin' with the coffee can guitar (mp3) as played by Tweed and too much Crown Royal

Here's another yardsale treasure that Marvin gave me the last time I was up home. It's called a "Chris adjustomatic". It's made out of plywood, has a fake resonator disc screwed to the top of it and the little soundholes aren't really even holes at all, but Nestles Quik can tops with fabric glued to the surface of 'em.

How does it sound you might ask? Click on the pic of the headstock to hear it.
