I have actually been spending a fair bit of time online when I've been able but it's mainly been talking to the odd friend from wherever about bits and pieces.
Went to bed the other night and suddenly found out at 2:00am that I couldn't get out of bed to go to the toilet and had to struggle for some considerable time before I could. Had me very worried indeed. Thankfully, the following day I had an unexpected visit from my palliative care doctor who listened intently to what I was telling him about what had happened and decided to give this new pill a shot to see if it helped or if I need something even stronger and he also told me that from here on in they will give me whatever I need immediately.
Worst part was having to find the $6 for the medicine, I had it - just, because the local pharmacist has sold his business and the new bloke who takes over on Tuesday is not going to run accounts so, it will get very difficult finding the money for the meds at times from here on in. They couldn't even wait until I got my Pension next Thursday to pay for the pills so, had I not had the money that I did, the nurse was going to have footed the bill for me until I could fix her up but I didn't want her being out-of-pocket. That's not my way!
Will have to see St. Vincent de Paul on Monday, or Tuesday and see if they can spot me some bread, milk and butter.
I have enough food left for the cats and a little left for myself - enough to make it to Thursday anyway.
