My father-in law, Roy E. Smith of Forest, MS passed away yesterday.
One of the nicest men I've ever known...he really influenced my life in so many ways. An army veteran who did two combat tours with forward recon patrols in Vietnam, and later as a drill instructor whose units consistently won
numerous commendations...he was one of the anchors in my life during times of hardship & struggle.
Rest In Peace, Pop...you will be sorely missed, and surely remembered.
